Dr. McCarthy is a business psychologist with over twenty years of experience consulting in a wide range of organizational settings and with people at all organization levels.
Joy's areas of expertise include leadership and team development, change execution, and organizational innovation. She has extensive experience in individual and organizational diagnostics, executive and team coaching, as well as program design and delivery. Serving as an advisor to top executives and senior managers, she has counseled on the management of difficult but talented employees and demanding but high-revenue customers, enabling companies to retain these valuable relationships.
She combines knowledge of position requirements and organization dynamics with an extraordinary sensitivity to client needs. By coaching leaders on how to integrate their increased self awareness and competency with their companies' needs and their industries' demands she teaches how to reinforce growth and change for long term successful innovation.
Joy earned her doctorate in Organizational Psychology from Georgia State University. She is a member of the American Psychological Association, Georgia Psychological Association, and Atlanta Society of Applied Psychology.
